Fox hunting has become illegal is some parts of the world, but there are still places where fox hunting is an acceptable activity, where people ride on horseback, following foxhounds and other scent dogs on their hunt for foxes, most likely a red foxes.

But there are ways to combat this cruel and unnecessary activity, which some people refer to as pest control. Sabotaging a fox hunt can be done in multiple ways, like using a huntsman whistle to warn foxes, a spray of water and citronella to mask the fox's scent, a huntsman whip to stop the hounds from pursuing, a loud horn of the hounds in full cry and more.
